what: vortex.net.nz serves as a fragmentary and overarching key to personal memoir, notepad & communication. it is many things to many people & has been in all forms since inception in 1999.
who: my name is amanda wheeler. i live and handjive in auckland, new zealand with the love of my life. i love cities, tragic movies, the internet & rocknroll songs. i work on the web as a project manager for an excellent web design company. i also take photos, renovate our house and once drove a new york city subway train over the brooklyn bridge.
offline projects: SKETCHES FROM STREET LEVEL - a zine of collected writings about cities, due to be released 2008.
