One thing I always struggle with when I’m tagging my online content - especially on Flickr - is that I can’t always remember the ways I’ve tagged similar content.
Usually I can remember individual tags, but if I’m taking shortcuts or don’t have a lot of time I might be less consistent about a full range of tags. Sometimes if I’m joining a few words together I can’t remember how I did it - was it 25thbirthday or 25thbirthday?
Perhaps this is something that I’m overthinking but the prospect of browsing by tags that aren’t actually capturing all the content associated with them makes me a little distraught. After all, the joys of tagging are manifold!
I’m interested in finding out how other people manage their tags. Otherwise, I might have to do a tag audit - and well, I should be out drinking beer and listening to rock n roll, not cross-checking my online content. Right??!
